a HUG from KC conception

whoah! okay, so this was a night to really remeber... forever... my law school friends and i had to go out since our midterms was over, we had to go out, to realease all frustrations and all... we are law students, so we have all the frustrations in the world... we ate at Dencios near ABS-CBN, mariel rodriguez was there. (pretty lady, very pretty.) after that we decided to have a little drink in MARINA, but decided to transfer to XAYMACA, performing that night was PEACEPIPE, HEMP REPUBLIC and JUNIOR KILAT, which was, for me, the star performers, since ORNUSSA CADNESS with bf BORGY MANOTOC went there to watch, also present was , of course, KC Conception. she is so pretty... when she was still outside, i was staring already, i told my friends i can ask her to have a photo with me, so they gave me a phone, (jen's 3660) and asked KC to have a picture with me. No night mode. so the picture was really dark, we had to retake it with another phone (this time, it was ayan's) but i do not know how to use it, so it took soooooooooo long, so i was embarassed, and told KC that i would actually go to her Celebrity bazaar. (spetemeber 3, sinday, the fort) she was surprised and was really pleased and hugged me, let me repeat she HUGGED me... God, she was so sweet, and accomodating, i mean for a celebrity and not just any celebrity. she is KC CONCEPTION, let alone a showbiz royal blood, how can anyone be that accomodating. God i love her... by the way, the phone still didnt work, we were actually filming the whole thing, what we have is a videoclip instead of a picture which is soooooooooooooooo much BETTER. love her. so much...

German Film festival

also,if you have the time this tuesday, go try to watch something different, like the german silent movies, this tuesday, they are showing TABU, with musical accompaniment of Bo Razon. It is in Greenbelt 1, cinema 1, with minimal fee of 50 pesos.

i got to see "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" music by Radioacive Sago Project last tuesday, boy, it was an amazing experience! it was fun, seeing a 1919-20 movie. everything about the movie was fascinating, the background, (they told us that the background was painted by 3 expressionist painters) the crooked doors. And the ending was so unexpected -you think an old movie would be so predictable, but boy you would be mistaken- and to top it all of, the music of SAGO. WOW. it was an event that i think can happen once in a lifetime, (hehe) overly daramatic na ba? basta, it was really good, makes you proud that you have experienced it. ahhh... it was good...

and...i get to see a lot of people included are khvn de la cruz, bill velasco, jessica zafra, and of course, lourd deveyra. and college familiars like ezra and gelo suarez.

KUBRADOR

finally, after weeks of waiting. i got to see it today! after all the news, the articles, the promotional advertisement (with ABS-CBN) finally, i saw KUBRADOR. even if i did read a lot about the movie, i did not think it was overrated... at all, i dont know, watching the movie was... the best term to describe it would be enlightening... i grew up with my aunt and lola placing bets in jueteng, so it was not new to me, i was familiar with a few jueteng terms. what was really fun was how she (amy-bet collector) gave names to numbers such as 24-dalaga, 13-malas, 5-bata, 18-bayag. (hehe)

but my God, did that movie hit the spot or what...

i did get a little disappointed, though, not with the movie but the turn out, after all the hype and praises, less than 20 people showed up in Gateway earlier. How can we expect the industry to produce well made movie if we cant support those that re really good... so to really help this "malnourished" film industry, we have to support such films like this. Great story, fantastic acting, no wonder it won a lot of awards abroad, and it was all well-deserved.

If you have the chance, go out and see it. only a few theaters in the metro are showing it, but make an effort, this is a good movie worth all your energy and... money.

seeing johnny manahan was really fun, also a neil ryan sese and soliman cruz cameo, and the silent jokes: ERAP's tomb, FPJ shirt, JV envelopes. (hehe)

Stop using the computer immediately, watch KUBRADOR already...

to blog or not to blog...

although, since i am already posting, i guess that answers the problem, for a man who thinks and talk a lot, it is necessary to blog.
